In this paper we present a case study on the use of participatory design practices in practice. Borden Ladner Gervais, a Canadian law firm embraced Participatory Design as a key element of developing and improving applications. More recently, the firm integrated PD into a more formal Systems Life Cycle (SLC) approach in an attempt to create a workable end to end process for planning, designing, developing and implementing systems. This paper presents the fusion approach that resulted.Downloads
